Short biography

Dan Poertner started his career in the Amusement Industry for 20+ years. Then he was Branch Manager for a Nationally Based Staffing and Recruiting Company for 15 years. Most currently has been a Sales Specialist and Training Specialist at TrainerTainment since 2023. Dan’s Career in the Amusement Industry included several different roles: Operations and Team Leadership at an Amusement Park, working across the board in Food, Games, Arcades and Rides for 8 years. He worked with a major Revenue Share Arcade Game Provider installing and operating in FEC’s, Amusement Parks and Street Locations for 7 years. He sold and installed Cashless Debit Card Systems in the early days of Cashless Payments in Amusement Parks, Arcades and FEC’s for 7 years. Then more recently Dan spent 15 years in the Staffing and Recruiting Industry, as a Branch Manager, providing clients fully vetted hires in Manufacturing and Aerospace using full cycle recruiting and best practice staffing and onboarding solutions, for all size companies and positions. Dan’s current position at TrainerTainment is split between Business Development and being a Training Specialist for New Center Projects, helping build teams, processes  and hiring the right people for the right seat, prior to venue's opening day. He is working with clients across the Entertainment and Amusement Spectrum including: Amusement Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, VR Venues, Bowling Entertainment Centers and Theater Based Entertainment Centers.
