During a joint press conference at IAAPA Expo on Tuesday, creative studio JRA (Booth #1666) and global entertainment company RWS Entertainment Group announced the acquisition of JRA by RWS.
“Jack Rouse, the founder of JRA, once said every hour of every day, somewhere in the world, we’re creating a smile, engaging the mind, or touching a heart. This remains true today,” said Keith James, president of JRA. “We’re expanding in ways that will allow JRA to continue to raise the experience and innovate the industry, just as we've been doing since 1987. It’s an honor and a pleasure to announce the acquisition of JRA by RWS Entertainment Group, making us one company with endless possibilities. We are officially becoming JRA, part of RWS Entertainment Group.”
Ryan Stana, founder and CEO of RWS Entertainment Group, said he is thrilled to welcome the talented JRA team based in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the RWS family.
“We are a global leader in attraction design, and the only turnkey solution for full-service leisure experiences,” Stana said. “Together with JRA, we can dream it, design it, create it, and operate it.”
At the end of the press conference, Stana presented James, who is known for sporting his JRA cap, with a new hat featuring the JRA, part of RWS Entertainment Group logo.
