Description

Explore valuable insights on making FEC's more accessible and welcoming, to include understanding the needs of individuals with disabilities, enhancing physical accessibility, and training staff to promote inclusivity.

Examples like "Morgan’s Wonderland Park" illustrate how inclusive design can provide wheelchair-accessible rides and sensory-friendly attractions. By incorporating these practices, FEC operators can create an environment where everyone, regardless of their abilities, can enjoy and have fun.

Learning Objectives
-Understanding the diverse needs of individuals with special needs, including physical disabilities, sensory sensitivities, and cognitive differences, to better tailor facilities and services
-Recognize the importance of physical accessibility and inclusive design in FECs to ensure individuals with mobility challenges can navigate the facilities comfortably
-Learn how to educate staff to interact respectfully and effectively with individuals with special needs, promoting inclusivity
