Visit Parque Tutucán

Parque Tutucán is a place full of culture, traditions and art that celebrates the 125 municipalities of the Antioquia region in Colombia. After a brief tour of the park, we will have a traditional Colombian breakfast.

Water and snacks will be provided for the 3-hour trip.

Arrival and lunch at Parque Temático Hacienda Nápoles

Buses will arrive directly at Dinos Restaurant for lunch, where Oscar Jairo Orozco, CEO, will provide an inspiring presentation on the history of the park, its journey to bring prosperity and development to the region, its commitment to sustainability and preservation, and the impact of entertainment in the community. The park receives over 1,2 million guests annually in a town of 10,000 people. It has three water parks, a safari park, an amusement park, and two hotels, among other attractions.
4-5 p.m.

EDUTour in Amazon Safari

After lunch we will walk through Amazon Safari, where park veterinarians will talk about the park’s conservation, preservation, and rescue mission. *This is a one-mile walk. Attendees who do not wish to participate can visit the African Museum instead, located 100 feet away from the starting point. The African Museum is a space dedicated to African cultures, their characters, their history, and their impact on the entire world.
5-6:30 p.m.

Depart for hotels

Buses will depart to designated hotels for check-in and rest. Attendees have to board the bus with their hotel name on it. Buses will go to individual designated hotels only. (Africa and Casablanca hotels are located inside the park; Lago Azul y Las Colinas hotels are located at the entrance of the park; and the Nebraska hotel is located 5 minutes away from the entrance).
6:30-8 p.m.

Depart for African Savannah

We will visit the feline area, where park veterinarians and animal handlers will talk about their enclosures and their unique characteristics. *This visit does not require significant walking.
8-9 p.m.

Dinner at Pangea water park

Enjoy a relaxing evening with buffet dinner, open bar, and DJ music.
9-10:30 p.m.

Depart for Congo amusement park

9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

EDUTour at Congo amusement park

The newest attraction in the park, set to open in July 2024, Congo features more than 25 thrill and family rides and attractions. Rides will be fully operating, but riding is not allowed yet. The EDUTour will cover topics such as ride theming with an emphasis in their art workshop; reconditioning and automatization of travelling rides; water treatment and recycling for water rides; and construction challenges. At the end of the EDUTour, attendees will be able to use the go-karts, boogies, and bumper cars. *Attendees who do not want to use the attractions may refresh at the restaurant or visit the park’s ticketing/entrance area and the clinic.
12-1:30 p.m.

Lunch at Río Salvaje restaurant

Buses will depart for Victoria Falls. We will cross behind the falls to arrive directly at the restaurant, where we will enjoy a relaxing lunch. *This is a 1/4-mile walk. Attendees who do not want to walk may arrive directly to the restaurant by bus.
1:30-2 p.m.

Short visit to the Museum of Infamy

The Museum chronicles the Hacienda’s and the region’s infamous drug past. *The museum is located next to the restaurant.
2-2:30 p.m.

Depart for Pangea water park

We will walk from the museum to the park. *This is a 1/4-mile walk. Attendees who do not want to walk may arrive directly to the water park by bus.
2:30-5 p.m.

EDUTour at Pangea water park

The continents meet again to make way for fun slides, mammoths, pools, and rivers. Discover their newest water park as park professionals guide attendees through the park facilities, water pump room, and water treatment facilities. *Attendees may use the facilities after the EDUTour. Towels will be provided. Those who do not want to use the facilities may return to the hotel after the tour.
5-6:30 p.m.

Depart for hotels

Buses will depart to designated hotels for check-in and rest. Attendees have to board the bus with their hotel name on it. Buses will go to individual designated hotels only. (Africa and Casablanca hotels are located inside the park; Lago Azul y Las Colinas hotels are located at the entrance of the park; and the Nebraska hotel is located 5 minutes away from the entrance).

- There will only be two departure times: 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. - Buses will leave for Medellín Airport (MED), the Dann Carlton Medellín Hotel or Bogotá Airport (BOG). Attendees must select an option during the registration process. - Attendees wishing to leave before Friday or after 9 a.m. on Friday must contact our team in advance to arrange a private car at the attendee's expense. - Attendees may extend their visit by covering the hotel rate and transportation.
