Amusement Logic announced the development of its large-scale Modular Tower as the central axis of what the company calls its largest water slide complex. Amusement Logic says the innovative assembly that forms the central Modular Tower can provide easy access to 31 different water slides. The slides launch from seven different levels, up to a maximum height of 18 meters. There are slides of all kinds: fast and quiet, straight and curved, funnels, bowls, and many more. Some of the slides are designed to use rafts, while others are body slides. The Modular Tower weighs less than 36 tons, and as a modular solution, is scalable and customizable.
First Ride from BoldMove
BoldMove announced an interactive dark ride named Smash & Reload, a compact, gamified ride that is part of the company’s new Rogue Rides range. BoldMove says Smash & Reload can meet demanding budgets and small footprints, starting at 225 square meters in size, while offering a throughput of 360 guests per hour. The ride uses autonomous vehicles that navigate past a series of interactive screens, where six passengers complete several tasks by pressing buttons located on a console inside their car. The ride system allows up to five vehicles to battle simultaneously. A giant leaderboard outside the ride engages spectators, allowing the fun to start in the ride queue.
