HONG KONG, CHINA (June 22, 2022) – More than 200 attractions industry professionals were inspired by leaders, experts, and legends during the successful IAAPA Expo Asia Virtual Conference 2022.
The conference, sponsored by Vekoma Rides, was offered June 21 and 22 after the cancellation of IAAPA Expo Asia 2022 due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns in Hong Kong. Virtual conference organizers now turn their attention to planning IAAPA Expo Asia 2023 in Singapore.
The virtual conference highlights included presentations about the reshaping of the global attractions industry, changes in the guest experience and how to connect with them, and talent acquisition and retention. Attendees were part of virtual networking events and met with industry leaders from around the world as anticipation builds for the return of in-person events in the Asia-Pacific region.
After three years of canceled expo events in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, IAAPA Expo Asia will return June 13-16, 2023, for an in-person education conference and trade show in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands. Anyone interested in exhibiting in the long-awaited return of this global event can take advantage of a special Early Bird rate for a discount up to 40%. Exhibitors should submit their booth contract by the July 20, 2022 deadline to lock in those savings.
Known as the premier international industry event in Asia-Pacific, IAAPA Expo Asia 2023 promises to deliver powerful education sessions led by industry experts, impactful networking opportunities, and cutting-edge technologies and exciting new products.
As the APAC region awaits the return of Expo, the first post-pandemic offer for in-person learning and networking returns later this year with the IAAPA APAC Trade Summit, October 17 and 18 in Bangkok, Thailand. The trade summit will be a valuable opportunity for attractions operators to hear from industry leaders, learn about timely topics, reconnect with industry peers, meet with leading suppliers, and leave with inspiration to move their business forward.
