German-Themed Park Coming to Southern Brazil This Spring
Nestled in an area known for being the most German city in Brazil, a brand-new park is set to open its doors this spring. Alles Park has been a dream of local entrepreneurs who wanted to build a space for families of all incomes to enjoy. The under-construction park, located in the city of Pomerode in Santa Catarina in Southern Brazil, will allow all guests in, free of charge, to explore the German buildings, architecture, and landscape. Guests will only have to pay to enter the long-awaited attractions, such as the 1,200-square-meter snow park, giant inflatable playground, and carousel. The park’s first phase is scheduled to open this year, while the second phase should be completed in 2023, which will include a cable car that transports guests to another site.
Mexican Safari Park Opens New Jaguar Sanctuary in Partnership with Global Chocolate Brand
Two jaguar families now have a special place to call home at Reino Animal, a safari park in Otumba, Mexico, and guests can visit them as part of a new sensory experience. The new Jaguar Sanctuary was a joint commitment between a leader in chocolate confectionery, Ferrero de Mexico, and Reino Animal to preserve a species in danger of extinction. At the same time, it will provide visiting families with an educational experience to pro-mote better knowledge of the species, as well as more awareness of the importance of its preservation.
“For the first time, not only in Mexico, but in the world, Grupo Ferrero has the opportunity to inaugurate a project of this type,” says Paolo Cor-nero, general director of Grupo Ferrero de Mexico. “It is a milestone in our path of social responsibility, as it is the first initiative whose mission is to preserve an emblematic species. We chose Reino Animal because of the great work they have done for two decades and because of the solidity of their project.”
The Jaguar Sanctuary consists of seven areas for guests to explore, including a trail where families can walk a protected path next to the jaguars. Guests can also appreciate the clinic space where jaguars are cared for and observe the work of researchers.
