IAAPA loves our members and looks forward to sharing their successes. On Thursday, January 27, SeaWorld invited the IAAPA Communications Team to preview “Ice Breaker,” the park’s new roller coaster.
Featuring four airtime filled launches—both backwards and forwards—“Ice Breaker” does not feature a traditional lift hill. Rather, a powerful reverse launch takes riders up what SeaWorld describes as “the steepest beyond vertical drop in Florida.” The 93-foot-tall spike boasts a 100-degree angle that’s followed by a near-vertical top-hat maneuver into a series of twists, turns, and airtime hills.
Ice Breaker opens to the park guests on February 18. Click on the player window above and go for a ride.
