Popular restaurant and bar Buffalo Wild Wings found a unique way to satisfy people’s hunger for sports and drum up business during the pandemic. With seating capacity restrictions in place at many football stadiums, the company offered a special promo for Cleveland Browns fans.
Diners could purchase a limited number of “season ticket packages” at 10 Buffalo Wild Wings locations in the Cleveland, Ohio, area. For all games, four guests sat in a reserved custom-designed “Dawg Pound” section (an homage to diehard Browns fans) and received perks like weekly food and drink deals and team swag.
In another Buffalo Wild Wings promo—open to diners across the United States at a lower price—fans could purchase a package that gave them 10 wings a week for the entire regular football season. The deal could
be used for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
