My industry career started as my first job, lifeguarding for Six Flags Darien Lake in Buffalo NY, 22 years ago now.   The property changing from Six Flags to CNL, which was then managed by multiple companies. While working there I held many titles throughout including Head Lifeguard, Seasonal Supervisor, Training Manager, and finally as the full time Aquatics Supervisor.  After 12 years, I left that property and started my journey with Great Wolf Resorts, starting as the Assistant Director of Aquatics and Safety Coordinator for the Wisconsin Dells, WI location.  In my 10 years with this company I have relocated to Traverse City, MI as the Director of Aquatics for 2 years then went back to Wisconsin Dells, as the Director of Aquatics.  After 2 years there I was given the opportunity to open our 18th Lodge in Scottsdale, AZ as Director of Aquatics, which I held for another 2 years before moving back to Wisconsin Dells and resuming my former position and title.  After 3 moves as a Director for Great Wolf Aquatics I have transitioned to our corporate team and currently hold the title Corporate Risk and Aquatics Manager.  In that role I work with all 22 of our locations overseeing all safety/risk programs, as well as our Security teams.
