BRUSSELS, Belgium – More than 125 attractions industry professionals from 17 countries gathered on 14-15 May to explore leading attractions in Finland during the IAAPA EMEA Spring Summit 2019. Participants took part in immersive tours of Linnanmäki, an amusement park in Helsinki, Finland, with more than 40 rides; Särkänniemi, an adventure destination that includes an amusement park, aquarium, planetarium, and observation tower in Tampere, Finland; and Haltia – The Finnish Nature Centre, an exhibition and event center in Espoo, Finland.

During the sold-out Summit, participants heard informative presentations by industry leaders including Pia Adlivankin, managing director of Linnanmäki, Tom Selänniemi, general manager of Haltia Nature Centre, and Miikka Seppälä. Participants also attended a seminar on dynamic pricing and heard from David Depenau, general manager of Weissenhäuser Strand, Franz Blechschmidt, managing director of Smart Pricer, Andreas Sievering, CEO of Fort Fun, and Stephanie Schaub, CEO of Hachez Chocoversum.
A post-tour, held on 16-17 May, took place in St. Petersburg, Russia. Attendees experienced Divo Ostrov amusement park, Russian ballet night at Mariinsky Theater, and the State Hermitage Museum of Art and Culture.
