Guests Enter the Peanuts World to Help Find Snoopy
From Snoopy’s iconic red doghouse to Charlie Brown’s larger-than-life bedroom, “The Search for Snoopy: A Peanuts Adventure” takes guests on immersive journey to find the beloved cartoon dog. Peanuts Worldwide and Kilburn Live—an events company specializing in experiential, touring, and static live entertainment—collaborated to launch the limited-time attraction at Ala Moana Center, an open-air shopping mall in Honolulu, Hawaii.
“Working with the Peanuts team was an honor for us all and ensured the authenticity of this activation was top of mind from the beginning. This brand means so much to so many people on so many different levels we had to get it right,” says Kilburn CEO Mark Manuel. “For the first time ever, guests will be able to walk into the iconic Peanuts world and find incredibly fun surprises at every corner.”
Open through Dec. 31, “The Search for Snoopy: A Peanuts Adventure” is made up of eight zones representing well-known Peanuts locations, including Lucy’s Psychiatry Booth and The Classroom, with life-size set pieces and interactive activities. Plus, Peanuts characters make appearances to meet and greet fans.
Universal Orlando Soon to Open its First Escape Room
Universal Orlando Resort recently announced that it will unveil its very first escape room adventures this fall. Universal’s Great Movie Escape will feature two distinct and immersive escape adventures based on “Jurassic World” and “Back to the Future” at Universal CityWalk.
The same creative minds behind the highly themed haunts of “Halloween Horror Nights” are handling the conception and design of these escape rooms. Featuring state-of-the-art interactive missions, captivating storytelling, and intricately detailed sets, guests will get caught in the films’ respective adventures—either dinosaur or time-traveling experiences.
