ORLANDO, FLORIDA (April 13, 2023) – To facilitate more meaningful business and support connections between top buyers and manufactures and suppliers, IAAPA has launched a new global Hosted Buyer Program. The first program will take place during IAAPA Expo Asia 2023, scheduled to take place at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore June 13-16.
As organizers of three global Expo events, IAAPA will host new buyers from around the world to meet exhibitors and association members through pre-arranged appointments. Through the exclusive Hosted Buyer Program, companies can optimize time and budgets, network and share experiences, and be inspired by new trends and innovations and discover supplies across the globe.
A hosted buyer is a pre-qualified buyer who is sponsored by show organizers to attend the event. The hosted buyer program cultivates a highly targeted business environment by connecting key industry suppliers with new high-profile business leaders. Hosted buyers are expected to attend the Expo for the full program days, attend education sessions, and book appointments with suppliers. In return, program participants receive a round-trip economy air ticket, up to three nights of accommodations, and a hosted buyer badge, which provides access to the trade show, education sessions, opening ceremony, and leadership breakfast.
“A key benefit to being an IAAPA member is the relationships built and fostered at our various global IAAPA expo events,” said Alice Mathu, IAAPA’s Vice President, Partnerships and Business Development. “We have been looking for new ways to enhance the value for our exhibitors at IAAPA expos, this is one objective toward achieving that goal. The timing of this new offering aligns with the return of IAAPA Expo Asia, which has not taken place since 2019.”
This new offering will also debut at IAAPA Expo Europe 2023, taking place in Vienna, Austria, in September, and during IAAPA Expo 2023, set to open in Orlando in November.
IAAPA expo events are the premier trade shows for the attractions industry in the regions they take place. General managers, owners, and CEOs of theme parks, amusement parks, zoos, aquariums, and water parks travel to the show to buy rides, connect with attractions industry experts, and more.
