IAAPA Virtual Expo: Asia to Digitally Connect Global Attractions Industry Professionals
For the first time, IAAPA will host a virtual expo to digitally connect global attractions industry professionals. Taking place from July 28 to 30—live daily from 2 to 6 p.m. China Standard Time (CST) and 8 a.m. to noon Central European Summer Time (CEST)—IAAPA Virtual Expo: Asia will offer attractions owners, operators, and buyers the opportunity to explore a virtual trade show floor, learn from education sessions and on-demand content, and make new contacts in virtual networking areas and lounges, all from their homes or offices. On the virtual trade show floor, exhibitors from around the world will have the chance to engage with attractions professionals, presenting their latest innovations and gaining exposure to their brands.
“We are excited to introduce our first IAAPA Virtual Expo to the Asia-Pacific market to meet the needs of our members during this time,” says June Ko, executive director and vice president, IAAPA Asia Pacific. “IAAPA Virtual Expo: Asia is a new, innovative way for IAAPA to provide a unique experience for global attractions industry professionals to learn, buy, and connect. And while this event is unlike any other IAAPA has hosted before, it will still deliver high-quality, engaging, and important content and opportunities that IAAPA is known for.”
With the click of a button on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, attendees will be transported to a virtual trade show, where they can visit exhibitors’ virtual booths to discover innovative products and services, chat with company representatives in real time, and view video demonstrations and digital collateral. In addition, attendees will be able to virtually meet new and familiar industry colleagues from around the world in networking areas and lounges.
Education sessions will take place daily at IAAPA Virtual Expo: Asia, and some sessions will feature a live chat room where attendees can ask questions, make comments, and answer live polls. Throughout the event, attendees will have unlimited access to on-demand content, which will also be accessible following the conclusion of the virtual expo, allowing them to learn at their leisure.
Registration for IAAPA Virtual Expo: Asia is free for IAAPA members and includes access to the virtual trade show floor and on-demand education conference. Nonmembers will need to purchase registration to gain access. Since IAAPA Virtual Expo: Asia is entirely web-based, registered attendees will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone and a strong internet connection to join.
