Event Preview: What to Expect at IAAPA Expo 2021
Returning to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, IAAPA Expo will bring together attractions industry professionals from Nov. 15 to 19 to discover innovations, network, and share ideas to reinvigorate their businesses and continue creating positive guest experiences. From exploring the trade show floor to participating in exclusive EDUTours, attendees will connect with exhibitors, learn best practices from leaders and experts, and gather insights to move the industry forward into 2022 and beyond. Here are some must-see IAAPA Expo highlights:
Trade Show Floor
Open Nov. 16-19, the trade show floor will feature groundbreaking products and services from more than 800 exhibiting companies spread across themed pavilions, including family entertainment, food and beverage, games and arcades, inflatables, operational services, production and design, rides and equipment, water parks, and first-time exhibitors. Decision-makers, executives, operators, and owners will have the chance to walk the floor and visit outdoor exhibits to enhance their facilities and develop new experiences for their guests. Several Trade Show Floor Tours* will lead attendees to participating exhibitors who will showcase their services and demonstrate their products.
Learning Opportunities
IAAPA Expo will offer more than 90 educational experiences to help attendees grow their businesses in a post-COVID-19 world. From Nov. 15 to 18, education sessions will cover a range of topics, such as entertainment, finance, marketing, security, and more. IAAPA Institutes and Symposia* will guide participants to new perspectives, solutions, and practices through single-day and multiday interactive programs. EDUTours* will give IAAPA members exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Central Florida attractions, and new for 2021, EDUTalks are 15-minute sessions hosted on the trade show floor’s EDUTalk Stage.
Special Events
Lunch and Learn* on Nov. 15 will feature a keynote presentation from Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, and on Nov. 17, Richard A. Zimmerman, president and CEO of Cedar Fair, will speak at the GM and Owners’ Breakfast,* one of the premier networking events for senior attractions industry professionals. Winston Fisher, CEO of AREA15 and partner at Fisher Brothers, will lead Game Changer – From Spectator to Participant: The New Paradigm of Immersive Entertainment* on Nov. 18. IAAPA Celebrates,* taking place the evening of Nov. 18, is an exclusive event for IAAPA Expo participants to mingle with industry friends and colleagues.
IAAPA Expos Digital Pass
