Joni Latour

Joni Latour is a Project Manager at Vekoma Rides, a leading roller coaster and attraction manufacturer. Alongside managing international customer projects, she is actively involved in advancing accessibility within the attractions industry. With over four years of experience at Vekoma, Joni has played a leading role in the company's accessibility initiatives, helping to integrate inclusive design principles into new and existing attractions.

Joni has also been involved in IAAPA's accessibility efforts. She contributed to the IAAPA Accessibility Task Force that resulted in the publication of 'A Practical Guide to Improve Accessibility in the Attractions Industry' and the 'Ride Accessibility Research Paper' in 2024. She currently serves as Chair of IAAPA's new Accessibility Task Force (2026-2028), a group primarily representing attraction manufacturers and suppliers. The task force focuses on developing and standardizing ride accessibility design principles and solutions that enable the widest possible range of guests to enjoy attractions safely.
