IAAPA is committed to support the next generation of attractions industry’s talent. For the second time, IAAPA Foundation Charity for Future Talent, a fundraising initiative dedicated to support the next generation of attractions industry professionals will take place at IAAPA Expo Europe.
All the money raised will be used on university scholarships and to inspire people to pursue careers in the attractions industry through IAAPA Foundation. Each contribution made by IAAPA Expo Europe participants to IAAPA Foundation Charity For Future Talent will be matched by IAAPA.
How to contribute
You can participate in three ways to IAAPA Foundation Charity for Future Talent:
- Buy an IAAPA Foundation Charity Stroopfwafles Box
Buy a box of delicious traditional Dutch caramel waffles, locally known as Stroopfwafles.
The IAAPA Foundation Charity Stroopfwafles Box will be available to purchase online as part of the show registration, and on-site at the IAAPA Foundation Charity counter located in the lobby of the RAI Amsterdam.
- Make an open amount contribution
Make an open amount donation during the online registration process or on-site at the dedicated IAAPA Foundation Charity For Future Talent counter, located in the registration area. Join us and help us raise funds to inspire life-changing careers in the attractions industry!
The IAAPA Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable, tax-exempt organization. (U.S. Federal identification number 26-4186862.) All proceeds from the sale of the IAAPA Foundation Charity Stroopfwafles and the amount collected from open amount contributions will benefit the IAAPA Foundation. The retail value of the box of Stroopfwafles is €4.95 (approximately USD $5.35). Your gift may be tax deductible. Please consult with a tax advisor in your country. On Wednesday 25 September, join the IAAPA Foundation Charity live auction at IAAPA Expo Europe in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This live auction, hosted by Massimiliano Freddi of Wonderwood and Jim Pattison Jr., of Ripley Entertainment will give you a chance to bid and win some amazing lots offered by our partners.
In 2023, charity lots available included coaster track climbs, invitations to attraction press days, VIP access to attractions, exclusive suite accommodation, real old coaster car and more!
