Expo Media/Press/Influencers
The IAAPA Press Office welcomes members of the media to IAAPA Expo, the global attractions industry’s premier event.
Press Policies and Credential Criteria
IAAPA offers complimentary press credentials to mainstream media and trade press outlets covering the attractions industry. This admission will allow eligible news reporters, online media, influencers, photographers, or camera persons access to the trade show floor during public show hours. A detailed list of eligible personnel is below.
Each outlet may register up to two (2) reporters to cover the Expo.

Trade Show credentialed media are expected to adhere to the following policies:
- All media on the show floor must have a press credential displayed at all times.
- Any media interviews done with the assistance and coordination of the IAAPA team will require an escort on the show floor by IAAPA Press Office staff, unless otherwise approved in advance.
- Interviews with an IAAPA spokesperson should be arranged by emailing IAAPA Press Office.
- Press are not permitted to participate in special events that require a separate ticket. Registered press seeking to cover those events are required to obtain advance approval from the IAAPA Press Office.
- Press may attend an educational program unless it is noted a session is closed to media. Credentialed media attending an educational program should ensure their badge is visible and they identify themselves as media at the beginning of the session.
- Advertising and sales personnel do not qualify for press credentials.

All applications must include a story pitch or coverage plan
Newspapers/Magazines
Eligible Staff: Publisher, Reporter (freelance or staff), Editor, Photographer- Publication should cover a field or industry related to the attractions or travel and tourism industry on a monthly basis.
- Circulation information may be requested during the press credential approval process.
Radio Stations
Eligible Staff: News Reporter, News Director, On-Air Personnel, Assistant News Director- Listenership may be requested during the press credential process.
TV/Broadcast Media
Eligible Staff: News Reporter, News Director, On-Air Personnel, Assistant News Director, Videographer- Viewership may be requested during the press credential approval process.
Digital/Online Media- Media outlet should cover a field or industry related to the attractions, travel or tourism industry.
- Website analytics may be requested during the press credential approvals process.
Independent Blogs/Vlogs- Media outlet should cover a field or industry related to the attractions, travel or tourism industry.
- Website analytics must be submitted with your application
- Monthly page views should average 10,000 to be considered eligible
NEW TO IAAPA!
Influencers (an individual that only posts content to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook)- Minimum following of 10,000 (or fewer with a verified social media account)
- Engagement rate of 2-3% is required to be considered eligible

Booth #4806SeaWorld Orlando will reveal the latest details about “Pipeline,” the world’s first surf coaster.
10:55-11:20 a.m. – Dollywood/Vekoma Rides
Booth #5124Dollywood will unveil the adventure vehicle for its largest single attraction in the park’s history Big Bear Mountain with its partners from Vekoma and will present a virtual ride on the new coaster
11:35 a.m.-Noon – Triotech/Lotte World
Booth #3439 IAAPA press spaceTriotech and LOTTE World will announce a brand-new custom attraction featuring a well-known global I.P.
12:10-12:35 p.m. Seaworld Parks and Entertainment/Intamin
Booth #5119Intamin and SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment will be announcing a partnership of three new rides for the 2023 year. Among these rides are the DarKoaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and a Flume Coaster at SeaWorld San Antonio. The companies will also be unveiling a ride car for the recently announced coaster at SeaWorld San Diego.
12:50-1:15 p.m. – Zamperla LSM Lightning train
Booth #2024The Zamperla Group unveils its revolutionary 2-across Lightning train and presents its first LSM rollercoaster, which will open at Playland Amusement Park at the PNE. This rollercoaster will be the fastest launched coaster in Canada. The attraction will catapult forward riders through a special effects tunnel and over 380 m (1,246 ft) of track.
1:30-1:55 p.m. – Cedar Point/Zamperla
Booth #2024Make your way to booth 2024 as Zamperla unveils its updated Twister Coaster vehicle! The fun, spinning car, coming to Cedar Point’s new Wild Mouse roller coaster in 2023, features a side door for easier ADA guest access and a design that truly makes it a shared experience.
2:10-2:35 p.m. – Hersheypark/RMC
Booth #4215Hersheypark and Rocky Mountain Construction will unveil a design first for Hersheypark - the custom-themed coaster train for Wildcat’s Revenge, an all-new hybrid coaster coming summer 2023.
3:25-3:50 p.m. – Extreme Engineering
Booth #2600Extreme Engineering to announce 3 new coaster projects for 2023, a new Parkour attraction and the all-new Flex Shade system.
4:05-4:30 p.m. – Premier Rides
Booth #2612Premier Rides will be announcing a unique partnership with an “industry legend” to reintroduce a legacy attraction on a grander scale.
4:50 p.m.-5:15 p.m. – Great Coasters International
Booth #2273Great Coasters International, Inc. and Worlds of Fun are set to debut the lead car of the new Zambezi Zinger coaster. Coming to Worlds of Fun’s 50th anniversary celebration in 2023, Zambezi Zinger is a nod to the former park favorite, reborn in a steel and wood hybrid design.
5:30-5:55 p.m. – Adventureland Resort w/ Zamperla
Booth #2024Adventureland Resort and Zamperla will reveal the ride vehicle for next-generation water ride Draken Falls, opening at the Home of Iowa’s Best Thrills in 2023 as the first super flume attraction in the Midwestern United States and part of an intertwined, Nordic-themed, two-ride experience including a family roller coaster, Flying Viking.
Wednesday, Nov. 16

Booth #831LAI Games will introduce three never-before-seen games, including a Rick and Morty-themed pusher game, as well as its newly improved Virtual Rabbids: Ultra HD. A representative from HTC will also join the conference to speak about the benefits of Vive Pro 2 headsets.
