Visiting IAAPA Expo Europe is a very exciting experience. It can also be overwhelming with an expansive show floor, variety of Special Events, and a vast education programme to choose from. Here is a handy guide to best prepare and make this Expo the most valuable experience.
Before the Expo
- Opening Reception
Some of the events sell out fast. To avoid disappointment, register in advance. Why not consider the annual networking party – Opening Reception? Taking place in StrandZuid, a water side restaurant at the back of RAI Amsterdam; this is your chance to meet and greet everyone with a drink and a chat. This is where connections are made.
- Targeted Receptions
If you prefer a smaller gathering with peers from your field, register for one of the Eight New Targeted Receptions. Whether you want to connect with water park or zoo professionals, or others book your spot in advance.
- Live Chat for Young Professionals
If you are a first timer young professional, Register for a Live Chat, a video call where the IAAPA EMEA team and other young professionals share ideas and experiences from past expos. Taking place on 10 September.
- Official Event App Connect+
For all practical items such as viewing the attendee list, finding exhibitors and their booth locations, seeing who is speaking and a full agenda, download the Official Event App Connect+. You will be able to see your own expo photos there, too.
When on-site in Amsterdam
- Opening Ceremony
How about starting the expo with the Opening Ceremony. Open to everyone with the Expo badge, it is an official start of the Expo. Watch the What’s New Video presenting all the novelties in the region and be part of the great opening moment. This show is as fun as our industry!
- First Timers Meeting
Attend the tailored session just for you – First Timers Expo meeting – on Tuesday, 24 September. Hear from veterans of the Expo, find out what to anticipate and what tools to use.
- Full Event Agenda
Check daily The Full Event Agenda not to miss short format EDUSessions, EDUTalks or Exchanges taking place in parallel to the Expo Show floor trading.
- IAAPA Membership Meeting
If you are interested in learning more about IAAPA, association’s initiatives and share questions, join the IAAPA Membership Meeting on Wednesday, 25 September.
