What does the registration fee include?
Transportation between tour locations, all organized meals, entrance fees and four (4) nights hotel accommodation.
What does the registration fee not include?
Airfare, transportation to Disneyland Paris on the first day and transportation from Nantes to airport on last day.
Is my housing accommodation included in the registration fee?
Yes, four nights of housing will be provided at the different hotels within their venues - Villages Nature Paris, Futuroscope, and Puy du Fou - and are included in your registration fee.
When does the program end?
The program concludes on Friday evening with departure on Saturday, July 13.
Where should I book my flight to and what are the dates?
All participants should arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on Tuesday, July 9 and take the train to Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-Vallée Chessy) over around 13 miles (22 km). There are usually 23 trains traveling daily from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-Vallée Chessy). The program starts at 13:00.
For departure on Saturday, July 13, you can either return to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport via train or fly from Nantes Atlantique Airport. There is a TGV high-speed train between Angers and Paris which takes 1h40. Every day there are three transfers back and forth between the park and the train station, with a journey time of one hour.
Where do I go upon my arrival at Disneyland Park on Tuesday, July 9?
Our meeting point on Tuesday will be at 13:00 at the Steakhouse restaurant at the Disney Valley.
You can drop off your luggage at the Disney's Hotel New York® NWY Luggage Room upon your arrival at the restaurant.
What are my options departing from Puy do Fou?
A shuttle service "Angers train station / Puy du Fou" is offered up to 3 times per day. This transfer lasts 1h20 and is only available upon reservation. The closest TGV station to the Puy du Fou is Angers. We advise you to organize your trip by train to this destination, which is accessible via all the major TGV lines in France
Le Puy du Fou is located 1 hour from Nantes Atlantique airport. The French cities served are Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi, Figari, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Montpelier, Mulhouse, Nice, Paris (Roissy-Charles de Gaulle), Perpignan, Strasbourg, Toulon and Toulouse.
What is the event dress code?
The proper attire is business casual. For off-site tours, please wear comfortable shoes as there will be walking throughout the facilities.
What should I bring to the event?
Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards for networking, and comfortable attire suitable for tours and outdoor activities.
Do I have to be a member to register for this event?
No, nonmembers are welcome and encouraged to participate. This event will explore highly valuable aspects of sustainability so that CEOs and decision-makers can get actionable insights to improve their operations.

Villages Nature Paris
Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris is a unique eco-tourism destination in Europe, leading the way in sustainable tourism since its inception. It holds three prestigious certifications—ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and Green Key—reflecting its commitment to positive environmental and social impact. The site distinguishes itself through its use of carbon-free geothermal energy, which supplies all of its hot water and heating requirements. It also implements an ecological management plan for its green spaces, has on-site recycling centres to process waste, and actively promotes environmental awareness among both visitors and staff.
Disneyland Paris
The Walt Disney Company has one of the industry’s most ambitious and wide-reaching strategies when it comes to both social and environmental responsibility. Zooming in on Disneyland Paris, presentations and behind the scenes tours will focus on the resort’s commitment to leaving a positive environmental legacy. This tour will showcase initiatives including one of Europe’s largest solar canopy plants, as well as technology aimed at increasing geothermal energy, water reduction, as well as programs aimed at recycling, upcycling, and leveraging the circular economy.
Futuroscope
Futuroscope, one of France’s largest theme park resorts, is in the process of a 300 million Euro expansion plan. Projects include Aquascope, Futuroscope’s themed indoor waterpark, as well as the Ecolodgee ecological village concept. Investments in sustainability include a commitment to energy transition, targeting zero carbon emissions and zero use of fossil fuels, 70% self-produced energy consumption in the park and resort project, 100% waste recovery, and a fleet of zero-pollution site vehicles.
Puy du Fou
Since its creation in 1977, respect of the environment and the preservation of the Vendéen history, architectural, cultural, and social heritage has been an integrated part of the Puy du Fou DNA. To pursue its commitment, the park has several certifications, and organizes its sustainability work within five pillars: environment, talent, culture, community, and animal welfare. As one of the largest and most recognized attractions in France, Puy du Fou’s commitment to sustainability is an integral part of both the business model and the strategic direction of the company.
Speakers
Damien Audric
Damien Audric is the Environment and Land Development Director for Disneyland Paris. As such, he is responsible for the land development of the tourist destination and the Val d’Europe territory as well as implementing Disneyland Paris’ environmental strategy.
With 19 years of experience in urban planning, land development, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects, Damien started his career at Disneyland Paris in 2016 as Land Development Director – a position that he still holds today. Leading a team of 30 Cast Members, including architects and urban developers, his role consists in developing projects at different scales, not only for Disneyland Paris but also on the territory that surrounds the resort, known as Val d’Europe, along with public partners.
The preservation of the environment and the development of renewable energy has always been priorities for Damien. Thus, in 2021, he also became the Director of the Environment for Disneyland Paris. The construction of the solar canopy plant, started in 2020 on the guest parking lot and completed by end of 2023, is one of the key project Damien and his team worked on over the past few years – and this is just one of the many environmental projects they developed to help the resort to reduce its environmental footprint!
Graduated Civil Engineer, Architect with a master’s degree in urban sociology, Damien has worked as project manager then Deputy Director of the north and west territories of the “Grand Paris” project – a large urban inter-municipality around Paris – before joining Disneyland Paris. Before that, he worked for the Ministry of Urban Development on renewable urban development projects. He also has extensive experience abroad with a Franco-Latin American association specializing in urban planning and participatory development of territories.
Olivier Garaïalde
Olivier Garaïalde has diverse work experience spanning several industries. Olivier currently serves as the CEO of Center Parcs since February 2021. Before this, they held the position of CEO at Miral Experiences from 2016 to 2021, where they also served as the Senior Vice President of Operations from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they worked at Compagnie des Alpes as the Vice-President of Operations in the Leisure Parks Division from 2009 to 2013, and as the Director of Operations in the same division from 2005 to 2009. At Disneyland Paris, they held various positions including Director of Operations for Hotels, Director of Finance Operations, Senior Manager of Finance Operations, and Finance Controller from 1997 to 2005. Olivier also worked as an Assistant General Manager at TGI Fridays Paris from 1994 to 1997 and started their career as a Financial Analyst at Disneyland Paris from 1991 to 1994. Olivier Garaïalde attended EHL from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a BA degree in Hospitality Administration/Management.
