1-2 p.m. EDT

Join IAAPA’s Financial Management and IT Committee Chair, Christina Gilchrist in a webinar all about how smartphone augmented reality is changing our theme park industry.

If the attractions market is to evolve and keep up with current trends, it must create responsible, engaging content that combines the physical world with digital interactions. We will outline the benefits of incorporating augmented reality into long lines to provide immersive and entertaining experiences. Digital content can be easily updated at any time to deliver new challenges, scavenger hunts, etc., to keep guests engaged at a fraction of what it would cost to create and deliver new physical experiences.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how augmented reality can result in increased sales
  • Discover the impacts of augmented reality and guest satisfaction
  • Experience how incorporating augmented reality can further create social engagement

A question and answer session will follow the webinar.

Attendees are eligible to earn one continuing education unit (1 CEU) towards IAAPA recertification. For more information about IAAPA Certifications, please contact Alissa DeMeglio
