Speakers
Eric Cosset
Eric Cosset has been working for Disneyland Paris for more than 28 years. With a background in Hotel Management, he has worked for the Holiday Inn and the Sheraton group. His missions at Disneyland Paris have been very varied, from Parks Food and Beverage Director, to General Manager for 3 different hotels in the Resort. In 2007, he took the position as Park Operations Director of both parks and in 2011, he became Director Park Operations Product and Development. In this new role, he is in charge of all new attractions projects, of all investments which can improve the existing assets for better safety, efficiency, service and quality and to insure that the product offering for the visitors is up to Disney standards.
Frank Bersch
Before joining Efteling, Frank worked with Philip Morris for 16 years as a specialist in environment, health & safety, visited factories worldwide to help them with risk assessments, Machinery Directive and incident investigations. Before Phillip Morris, he worked for more than four years at a Dutch waterboard as permit enforcer.
Frank has training as a chemical & environmental technologist and certified higher safety expert with degrees from Universities Eindhoven & Antwerp.
Frank has more than 20 years of experience in health, safety and environment, with focus on risk assessments, food & merchandise safety and implementation of safety processes in operations. He is currently a member of IAAPA EMEA Safety Subcommittee and served as a speaker for several IAAPA Safety Institutes.
Marcus Brian
Joni Latour
As a Project Manager at Vekoma Rides, a leading Dutch roller coaster and attraction manufacturer, Joni Latour strives to increase the accessibility of their rides to accommodate guests with many different abilities. Joni graduated with honors from Breda University of Applied Sciences in International Leisure and Events Management, specializing in Attractions and Theme Parks Management. In 2021, she completed her graduation research at Vekoma, focusing on ways to improve the accessibility of rides for guests with physical and sensory disabilities. Her research involved collaborating with experts by experience, interest groups, and rehabilitation specialists to find possible solutions. After graduating, Joni rejoined Vekoma in 2022 as a Project Manager, managing external customer projects as well as the company's internal ride accessibility work group. Vekoma strives to develop practical and innovative solutions by collaborating with experts by experience during the design process, aiming to make both their existing and new rides accessible. Their goal is to ensure that all guests, regardless of ability, can enjoy fun and memorable experiences.
Roman Hauer
Roman started his career as a structural engineer in bridge construction and moved to the amusement ride industry as an inspector/auditor for TÜV SÜD Munich. He then changed to Mack Rides in Germany where he filles the position of Head of Ride Safety. He is sitting in multiple national and international committees such as the DIN Mirror Committee to amusement ride standards, CEN/TC 152 and ISO/TC 254. Roman is active in the ASTM F24 Executive Committee as well as in the IAAPA ASTM-EN Harmonization Committee.
