Stephanie Dahl
Stephanie Dahl, born in 1972 in the Rhineland (Germany), grew up in the Ruhr area and came to strawberries via Hamburg. The trained advertising assistant worked in various advertising agencies in Hamburg as a producer and event planner until a strawberry farmer crossed her path. Arriving in Rostock in 2000, it took another two years to realise that Karls offers more than any advertising agency. Through many stations, including stand supervisor at the strawberry harvest or team leader at Karls farmers' market, Stephanie Dahl became a retail buyer and most recently "head of retail" for the Karls adventure villages and their shops as well as Karls' online shop.
From salami and cheese to ceramic mugs and textile collections, she has created, developed and manufactured products at and for Karls. The last two years have been extremely challenging, as it has become more and more difficult to source our individual articles. But: everyone grows with his or her tasks.
As the business has grown, three wonderful children have grown along with it, who will soon be following in big footsteps. After 20 years at Karls, Stephanie Dahl will be starting out on her own path in the next few months. Kundalini Yoga and events will progressively replace her strawberry world. Through the family, however, the strawberry heart will continue to beat to the rhythm for Karls.
