Andrew Bolstein

Andrew Bolstein is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Shanghai Disney Resort, where he leads thousands of Cast Members, across a wide variety of operational business units. Andrew joined the Shanghai Disney Resort project in 2010, participating in negotiations, the design development phase, and current operations. A 25-year plus veteran of The Walt Disney Company, Andrew brings with him a proven track-record as a strategic leader with deep experience in developing high performance teams and delivering world-class guest experiences in international markets.
Rainy Chan
Ms Rainy Chan is the Chief Operating Officer of Chanintr Living, a luxury furniture retailer based in Bangkok, Thailand. Chan has been entrusted to bring her wealth of hospitality experience to create a rich service culture and deliver quality and exceptional service to its tasteful customers. Prior to joining Chanintr Living in 2018, Ms Chan was a pioneering leader in the hospitality industry, serving The Peninsula Hotels from 1994 to 2017. In her 23-year tenure at The Peninsula, she has held senior management appointments at the company’s properties in Hong Kong, Chicago, New York, and Bangkok. She held the position of Regional Vice President, The Peninsula Hotels and General Manager, The Peninsula Hong Kong until October 2017.
Anna Danau ICAE
Anna is Managing Director of Hospitality Intelligence LLC, a safety, operations, staffing, logistics, and guest service consultancy company in the amusement & attractions industry. Anna also serves as the Director for Strategic Engagement for International Ride Training. She has been living in Vietnam for the past seven years, operating attractions, delivering training, and supporting international companies do business in attractions & entertainment in Vietnam.
Anna has worked with partners across Asia-Pacific to boost safety standards, hire strategically and successfully, improve training methods, and execute world-class operations. Additionally, as Director of Strategic Engagement for International Ride Training, Anna guides clients to meet international ride operations safety standards, teaches courses in safety schools, and conducts safety audits.
Chris Deere, ICAE
Chris Deere is currently the Director of Supportlab Ltd, a Company that he formed in 2017 to provide coaching and support services to the Attractions Industry and other business sectors. Chris is the Owner/Director of “The Alternative Board” in South Auckland, New Zealand, through which he facilitates advisory boards and provide coaching solutions to business owners, CEOs, and Directors. Prior to this, Chris was the CEO of Rainbow’s End Theme Park in Auckland, NZ, a position he held for a 10-year period from October 2007 to December 2017. He was the Operations Manager for a five-year period before this. During Chris’s tenure as CEO the park faced numerous challenges yet achieved significant growth and received several prestigious international and local awards. Chris is the current Board Chair of New Zealand Operators of Amusement Devices (NZOAD) an organization that has been established to support and lead the Amusement Device Industry in New Zealand and to promote health & safety, sustainability, professionalism and integrity in the development and operation of amusement devices. Chris is the Board member/trustee of the Attainable Trust based in New Zealand which has been established to support people with disabilities to become more included and accepted in the workplace.
Michelle Erasmus

Michelle has been working in the Theme Park industry for over 17 years, starting her career as a Ride Operator at Warner Bros. Movie World. She has held a variety of leadership roles across her career including Attractions Trainer, Guest Services Supervisor, Operations Manager and Operations Director. Michelle is passionate about all things operational and enjoys the complexities of running multi-million-dollar amusement devices both safely and efficiently.
Murray King

Murray King is Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications at Shanghai Disney Resort. In his role, he is responsible for all aspects of public affairs and communications for the resort, including external and internal communications, public relations, government relations, corporate citizenship/community relations and language support services. Murray also serves as the Chairman of the resort’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council, leading the resort’s overall gender equality, accessibility and PRIDE employee and community engagement strategies. Prior to joining Disney in 2011, Murray worked for the Washington, DC-based public affairs consulting firm APCO Worldwide as the firm’s regional managing director for Greater China. During Murray’s seven years with APCO, he worked with a wide range of corporate clients on China public affairs and investment issues, serving as a key advisor on public affairs issues to some of the largest foreign investors in China, with specific expertise in assisting companies to build and execute strategic government engagement and corporate responsibility programs.
Wong Wai Kuan
On my weekdays, am reasonably experienced in Marketing and Commercial across leisure, travel & tourism industry, banking and FMCG. Pretty skillful in budgeting and motivated in cost and time efficiency initiatives in my years of working experience. Over the last one decade, I yearn to learn and apply Digital Performance, online and offline channels that complement and supplement overarching Marketing and Communication Strategy. I am very passionate in sharing my personal journey as a mother of special needs child and how I outdo myself in running from 1km to ultra!
Cici Li

Cici Li leads Human Resources at Shanghai Disney Resort. She provides strategic Human Resources leadership to further the resort’s business priorities and deliver on the Disney parks’ vision. Cici is also responsible for all Human Resources-related solutions and services, including organizational development, talent planning and management, compensation and benefits, recruitment, diversity and inclusion, employer branding and Human Resources operations. She assists all leaders across the organization to continue to develop a culture of Disney leadership in China.
Cici joined Shanghai Disney Resort in 2018 from Intel, where she most recently served as General Manager, Intel China Online Sales Group. In this role, she successfully expanded the business by accelerating their B2B online platform development and leveraging the latest internet technologies, including a mobile app, social tools and an AI-based Chatbot. Prior to sales, Cici led an over 20-year career in Australia, China and the US in a variety of Human Resources roles, including Executive Search, Recruitment Marketing, Leadership Development and overall HR leadership. Cici was the executive sponsor for the Intel China Board of Diversity and Inclusion.
Tony Lines
Tony is the Head of People & Culture for Surf Lakes International, based in Queensland, Australia. He has extensive experience in the tourism and hospitality sectors. His career in the Attractions industry has spanned over 30 years in Human Resources and Entertainment working with attractions based in Australia, China and USA. He holds qualifications in Learning & Development, Management and Tourism.
He has served on the Tourism Training Executive Board as a member of a Tourism Australia industry committee. He is a long-term board member of AALARA (the peak national body for the amusement industry in Australia), including 2 years as president. He has been a corporate member of IAAPA for over 20 years and served as a member of the Human Resources and Education committees, trainer and conference speaker in Australia, Asia and the USA. Tony joined the Surf Lakes team in November 2020 and is setting up the HR systems and processes and assisting growing the Surf Lakes Team.
Raj Mahendira
Raj is currently Health, Safety & Security Director, Legoland Malaysia & Korea since 2016. Practiced OHS in variety of industry prior to joining amusement industry. Raj also serves as the chair on IAAPA APAC Safety subcommittee.
Shaun McKeogh
Shaun’s experience in the Amusement & Attractions Industry has enabled him to gain a wealth of industry knowledge especially in regards to building strong workplace cultures that support employee engagement; impacting job performance, quality service excellence delivery and productivity. His expertise lies in organizational development, employee engagement, service excellence systems, attractions training and operations. Shaun is past Chair of the IAAPA Human Resources Committee and currently serves as Chair of the IAAPA Asia Pacific Education Committee and member of the IAAPA Asia Pacific Advisory and IAAPA Global Education Committee. He is being featured as a regular international speaker for both the Asian and North American Expo’s, and long term faculty for IAAPA Institute for Attraction Managers. Shaun managed the culture and people development of Australia’s premier theme parks, including Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World Theme Park & Resort Hotel, Wet ‘N’ Wild Water World, Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country. Beginning with extensive frontline experience in Rides & Attractions and Park Operations, he has served in many senior leadership roles in Theme Park Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Admissions. His extensive industry career has included experience across the breadth of the Amusement & Attractions Industry including family entertainment centers, theme parks, hotels, zoos, water parks, cultural centers, museums and destination resorts. Shaun is excited about the new initiative to grow the presence and impact of the ProFun Global Training Academy throughout Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
Jeremy McLeavey

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honors and was attracted to the diversity of engineering challenges in theme parks. Taking his drive for unpacking complexity, Jeremy now heads up the Continued Compliance Maintenance Organization at Dreamworld. This team is focused on Compliance, Design, Maintenance and Certification, as well as detailed investigation of defects. Under Jeremy’s leadership the team has established best practice systems which have supported the implementation of the Queensland Government’s Major Amusement Park legislation.
Leonard Ng
Leonard joined Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl (formerly known as Atelier Dreiseitl) in 2008. His academic background and design interest lay at the juncture between man and his environment with the aim of finding a long-term sustainable balance between them. Leonard’s approach involves extensive collaboration with diverse professions to foment holistic landscape-based solutions that engage and educate users while respecting the environment. Over 20 years of experience, Leonard has worked on numerous projects; and some of his notable works include Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Kampung Admiralty and Jurong Lake Gardens. His recent works feature a design that integrates the water found on-site with the surrounding urban development in a sensitive manner.
James Redgrove

James Redgrove is the executive responsible for leading the implementation of enhanced safety systems and regulatory requirements at Dreamworld major amusement park in Queensland, Australia. He has prior experience in leading successful safety improvements in several major Australian airlines, including Qantas and Virgin Australia. James is a senior safety leader with experience and qualifications across a diverse range of safety management disciplines, including investigations, management systems, assurance and audit, risk management and human factors. James holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, is a full member of the International Society of Air Safety Investigators and a member of the Australian Institute of Health and Safety.
Joe Schott

Joe Schott is President and General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, leading a dynamic and highly talented group of Cast Members (Disney’s term for employees) across a wide variety of business lines for the world’s newest Disney resort. Prior to his current position, Joe served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Shanghai Disney Resort. Joe’s extensive theme park operation and management experience as well as a global understanding of Disney parks provides him with a solid foundation to lead the team in growing and expanding the business while delivering incredible experiences for guests visiting the resort.
A 40-plus-year veteran of The Walt Disney Company, Joe has held various roles of progressive responsibility and worked in several Disney resort destinations across the globe. He began his career in Florida as a frontline Cast Member in Operations at Walt Disney World. Although he spent most of his time based in Orlando, he also has been working outside the USA for 11 of the last 14 years. Most notably were his assignments in Japan and in France. He led Walt Disney Attractions Japan in support of the Tokyo Disney Resort for three years during their 25th anniversary. Joe also led the revitalization of Disney’s European parks and hotels as chief operating officer for Disneyland Paris for 5 years.
John Toma

John joined the Safety Team at Dreamworld three years ago, coming from a Risk Management and Safety Systems background within the aviation industry, to assist Dreamworld with developing the Risk Framework and associated processes. John’s current role within the Safety Assurance Team includes internal audits, safety reviews (investigations), facilitation of risk assessments and mentoring other team members. This has fostered a positive safety reporting culture, providing visibility of hazards and risks impacting the business, leading to further improvements.
Joel Ward
Joel Ward is a 30-year veteran of the attraction, resort development and travel industry, bringing a unique blend of operations, marketing, strategic planning, and business development to world-renowned projects. Previously, Joel was with MR-ProFun, overseeing business operations in Asia for the attractions management company as Senior Vice President of Operations.
He began his career with an 18-year stint at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he was a key participant in the transformation of the studio theme park from tourist attraction to world-class destination. During his time there, he held leadership roles in both operations and marketing through a period of tremendous growth and expansion. After Universal, Mr. Ward led the creation of the location-based entertainment division for DreamWorks Animation. In this new business unit, he developed the business strategy, pursued licensing opportunities, and oversaw the creative development of DreamWorks theme park and live entertainment projects worldwide.
Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul
Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul is a Chairperson of Toshiba Thailand Co., Ltd. and former Minister of Tourism & Sports. She began her career as an assistant to the Project Manager for interior design of the Mah Boon Krong Center (MBK Center). The secret to her success is her belief in people and commitment to human resource development and team unity. During the 1997 economic crash, she led Toshiba’s business development initiatives, launching a range of IT products that won great praise and guiding Toshiba refrigerators to country market leadership. She holds numerous positions such as the National Reform Committee on Economics, Sub Committee of the Office of Public Sector Development Committee, Board Member of Paralympic Committee of Thailand, Honorary President of the Thai-Japanese Association, Vice Chairman of Thai Chamber of Commerce and Committee of The Thai Red Cross Society. She has also recently been made the Chair of the Board at Kasikorn Bank, one of the top commercial banks in Thailand.
