Mark Darwish

Mark serves as the maintenance leader for all rides and shows for Universal Orlando. Our goal is to deliver safe, reliable, quality attractions for our guests to receive an extraordinary experience while they visit the resort. Mark Darwish has over 30 years of experience in the maintenance/entertainment industry. Beginning his maintenance career in the US Navy, Mark served aboard an aircraft carrier for the Navy as a ship’s electrician. After leaving the military, Mark joined Universal Orlando in 1998 as a control’s technician. He has successfully led several teams in supporting, maintaining, designing, and building attractions and shows throughout the parks in Orlando. He encourages positive attitude, teamwork, and collaboration – leading the team towards proactive maintenance excellence.
