- It is not necessarily confined to a traditional stage.

A festival or event is defined by having a set start and end date, a theme, may or may not require special ticketing, and has a separate operational and marketing budget apart from regular operations.

Award Description: The Top FEC award honors a facility for overall excellence in guest service, cleanliness, guest experience, attractions including food and beverage (if applicable), theming, and special events.
