Tina Blakeney

As Principal, Project Development based out of TAIT Montréal, Tina leads the strategic management of the Thinkwell Project Development pipeline, working to ensure that planning, strategy, and deliverables can be met across teams and projects. With over two decades of experience in themed entertainment, video production and the events sector, she has developed and delivered major global projects in her native Australia and across Asia, notably with Walt Disney Imagineering and at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and has consulted for and collaborated with many other international luxury brands. Since arriving at TAIT in 2017, she has been instrumental in the Montreal studio’s rapid growth, developing management processes and procedures to ensure a smooth transition as the team takes on larger and longer-term projects. Her many entrepreneurial ventures over the years, from opening a vegan restaurant when she was 22, to starting a video production studio in China, or working as a VJ and fine art curator in Shanghai, all inform her leadership style today. These roles all involve an ability to think quickly on your feet, be flexible, think creatively, and solve problems. With limited time, budget or resources, Tina will always find a way to deliver outstanding experiences that create lasting impact.
