IAAPA Latin American Summit 2017 took place from April 26-28 and sold out with 122 participants from 16 countries gathering in Buenos Aires.
The program included a wide variety of facility tours to different attractions in the area, a keynote address, presentations, and networking dinners and receptions. IAAPA Chairman Greg Hale, IAAPA President and CEO Paul Noland, and the Argentine Minister of Tourism opened the summit. The keynote was given by Juan Kurhelec, owner of Playland, a multinational family entertainment center (FEC) chain. The group visited Neverland FEC, Biopark Temaikèn, Parque de la Costa theme park, Aquafan water park, River Plate Museum and Stadium, and Tierra Santa theme park. An ASTM F-24 meeting was also held in Buenos Aires along with the summit.
The post tour took 33 attendees to Mar de Plata and San Celemente del Tuyú April 28-30. The group visited Aquopolis Water Park, Mar de Plata Aquarium, and Mundo Marino.
