IAAPA North America Hosts ‘Meet IAAPA’ Event in Canada
At Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, unique exhibits and interactive displays show off unusual artifacts from around the world, wax figures, and surprising visual illusions. Here, IAAPA North America hosted its “Meet IAAPA” event on March 3, bringing together more than 120 attractions industry professionals representing five Canadian provinces, six U.S. states, and three countries. Several safety professionals from Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) also attended IAAPA’s event. Attendees networked and mingled with one another and had the opportunity to explore and interact with the attraction’s exhibits, including “Robert Wadlow, World’s Tallest Man,” “The Cuban Eye Popper,” “The Hot Seat,” and “Daredevils of Niagara Falls.”
“I’ve attended a few ‘Meet IAAPA’ events, and the Niagara one was so much fun,” said attendee Livia Treseder, account executive with LearningZen. “I met so many industry professionals all while eating tacos, enjoying drinks, and playing life-size ‘Operation’! I have my wax hand [souvenir from the event] sitting on my desk.”
