ROOM: IAAPA Theater Sponsored by Wanda, N320
The global attractions industry is innovative and is constantly evolving to meet the needs and to exceed the expectations of its guests. From advances in technology to creating immersive environments that tell a story, industry professionals must always look forward to what is new and what is next. This unique and informative session will look back to help provide insight into what lies ahead. Attendees will understand how the industry has evolved from a Service Economy into an Experience Economy, and how the popularity of Virtual Reality is shifting into a desire for what this presentation defines as Authentic Reality. Drawing on his personal experience as a creative director, writer, and industry thinker, George Walker will look at current trends to help provide context and clues that look at this “next reality” and how technology enhances the guest experience rather than drives it.
