Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Under his leadership, the park has received the Executive Board Award from the World Waterpark Association and the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Brass Ring Award for the best employee recognition program and voted Top Workplaces in both Houston and Austin markets.

Shawn Kidd is the Director of Operations at Island H2O Water Park in Kissimmee, FL.  Prior to his current role, Shawn worked as a Client Partner for StarGuard ELITE, as the Corporate Director of Logistics for Innovative Attraction Management, and as the Aquatics Director for Myrtle Waves Water Park. His background also includes acting as the E&A Client Manager serving the Walt Disney Company and he worked directly for Walt Disney World for 15 years in a variety of management roles across Water Parks and Resort Recreation. Shawn is currently an SGE Instructor Trainer and was previously an E&A Instructor Trainer and an ARC Instructor; he’s also been an auditor for all

Prior to joining San Antonio Zoo in December 2014, Tim Morrow led an accomplished 24-year career in the theme park industry. As the President & CEO of San Antonio Zoological Society which operates San Antonio Zoo, Will Smith Zoo School, the Center for Conservation and Research, and Kiddie Park, Tim’s vision to take San Antonio Zoo to new heights began with investing nearly $30 million dollars since his arrival. More than 150 animal habitats have been improved over that time, several improvements being large scale renovations. In January 2018, the zoo’s preschool for children, Will Smith Zoo School, opened on its new campus, becoming the largest nature-based preschool in the country. While away from the “office,” Tim cheers on the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys, and he enjoys traveling with his wife Jennifer and children.

Marah Rodriguez, ICAE, is a 21-year veteran of the aquatics industry. She is currently Vice President of Busines Development at Water Safety Products, Inc. in Palm Bay Florida. Water Safety Products, Inc. is an award-winning company with over 30+years as an industry supplier and supporter.  Marah has been part of the Water Safety Products team for the last 14 years.  She obtained her BA from the University of Central Florida with a focus in Interpersonal Communications and Hospitality Management.  She is also bilingual.   Her very first summer job, beginning in high school, was a Lifeguard at Wet N Wild Florida. She was also part of the founding team at the iconic Orlando Watersports Complex. Her passion for the industry has continued throughout her career.  She has participated in many lifeguard safety schools, industry tradeshow trainings and educational sessions. Marah is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive and is currently serving on the IAAPA Waterpark Committee.
