Julien Simon

Project Engineer, Compagnie des Alpes

Julien fell into the "cauldron of magic potion" of amusement parks from his earliest age! After graduating with a mechanical engineering degree and spending the beginning of his career working on small leisure and museum projects, he joined the Compagnie des Alpes in 2013.

His first task was to set up strategic masterplans for CDA’s parks and in particular to support the redevelopment of Walibi Rhone Alpes and Walibi Belgium. Since then, he has accompanied these parks in the various stages of their new development and has also participated in the creation of many design for new guest facilities, including attractions but also restaurants, shops or entry areas. His most recent projects includes “Mystic” at Walibi Rhône Alpes, the masterplan for the recently acquired Familypark or the forthcoming Megacoaster area at Walibi Belgium.
