75 committees and task forces (three–11 members each) guide the development of programs, resources, and events for global members.

Up to 11 volunteers per board set regional strategic priorities. IAAPA has four regions: Asia-Pacific; Europe, Middle East, Africa; Latin America, Caribbean; and North America.

The association’s ultimate decision-makers, setting strategy, approving business plans, and overseeing finances. The board includes 22 positions and six officers.

IAAPA Officers are the industry leaders who represent and guide IAAPA between board meetings. The global board defines IAAPA’s strategy, while the officers ensure it is carried out by the CEO who oversees the IAAPA Team.
